Founder of Acupuncture With Grace
Grace Chang is a Board-Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with over a decade of experience in integrative care. After graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, she completed an advanced internship program at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sichuan Province, China, specializing in Gastroenterology, Dermatology, and Cardiology. Grace continues to advance in her field, deepening her studies with renowned teachers such as Kiiko Matsumoto, Jeffrey Yuen, and the late Dr. Richard Tan.
Growing up in a traditional Chinese family meant regular visits to the Chinese doctor for relieving all sorts of ailments and injuries. Grace’s mother, an excellent cook, generously applied her wealth of knowledge in healing foods and herbs to their family meals. The culmination of these early experiences formed the seeds of inspiration, thus leading her to pursue the study of Chinese medicine. Through her work, she discovered a deep respect and appreciation for natural medicine and a genuine love for helping people improve their lives.
Acupuncture With Grace focuses on addressing digestive and mental/emotional disorders, and related issues such as allergies and weight management. Various modalities are used in her practice to achieve balance, strength, and healing: acupuncture, Eastern and Western herbs and supplements, whole-food nutritional therapy, and manual therapies such as cupping, guasha, and massage. At times, healing may simply involve whole-heart listening and gentle guidance on addressing the emotional aspects of the being, which are so often separated and dismissed from the physical being. Her patients value Grace for her gentle yet effective care, as well as her communication skills and ability to put people at ease. In turn, Grace enjoys working most with patients who are dedicated to their own path towards growth and transformation. She strongly believes that the optimal road to health is through education and preventative care.
